To begin this blog, we will introduce our favorite movies. I am going to present you Hooligans. A film realized by Lexi Alexander.

Summary:

In the film, an American college student (Matt Buckner ,played by Elijah Wood) falls in with a violent West ham football firm : the Green Street Elite run by his brother-in-law's brother and becomes little by little member of this group...

Why I love this film ?

I find this movie very interested. The actors are good, especially Charlie Hunnam. This film combine emotion and action, so I love this.

Hello people ! Now it's my turn to present you my favourite movie !

As you can see above this is Alien ( Ridley Scoot )

Summary :

Why I love this film ?

It's my favourite because I'm fond of horror films ! Besides there are many moments of suspense ! Furthermore Sigourney Weaver is a very good actress ( also in Avatar directed by James Cameron ) Here is ...

Avatar is a film realized by James Cameron , it is the biggst succes of the cinema's history after Titanic, with the same director.

Summary :

In spite of his paralysis Jake Sully ( played by Sam Worthington ) a former navy immobilized in a wheelchair is recruited to go to light years of the Earth, on Pandora, where powerful industrial groups exploit an extremely rare ore intended to resolve the energy crisis on Earth. Because the atmosphere of Pandora is toxic for the humans , they created the avatar program, which allows human "pilots" to connect their mind to an Avatar, a remote-controlled biological body, capable of surviving in this lethal atmosphere. Jake has a mission of unfiltration with Na'vi. But everything is going to change when Jake, meeting Neytiri...

Margot's opinion :

Oh my god this film is extraordinary ! I knew I wasn't disappointed by a James Cameron's movie because it's the best director I know ! ( I think he's very good in any kind of film !)

In Avatar the 3D is quite good but the characters, the story and the landscapes are fantastic ! The musics are pretty ! I love the song "I see You" by Leona Lewis.

Besides the Na'vi are charming. Their culture, their language and the deep link with the nature are well represented.

The Na'vi are close to their planet, they protect it, they've got a link with the nature. Maybe that is what we should do with our.

This movie has got also a ecological message.

I think it's one of my best films !!!

The opinion of Melanie :

I admire the creation of James Cameron who is certainly one of the biggest director.The story of love between a human and a Na'vi give at this film a fascinating story. I understand the fact that this film made a cardboard at the cinema because it is a very good movie. The actors play their role very well and the specials effects are not visible, I find that this movie in 3D is a very good choice take by James Cameron.

Invictus

We go tell you about a movie which we have saw recently. Invictus realized by Clint Eastwood.

Summary :

In 1994, the election of Nelson Mandela dedicates the end of the Apartheid but the South Africa remains a nation divided on the racial and economic plan. To unify the country and give to every citizen a motive for pride, Mandela put on the sport, and makes common cause with the captain of modest South African team of rugby. Their bet: appear at the World championship 1995...

Melanie's opinion :

It is a very good film, favour this movie we learn some rules about rugby. The story is very interesting because she explains the life of Nelson Mandela. I recommend to the persons who want to discover the story of South Africa to go see this film. Besides I find that Morgan Freeman and Matt Damon are very very good actors, they play their role with a big talent.

I also think that is really good film which redraw a part of Mandela's life. I particuly like this kind of film and I have not been disapointed at all ! I did see the time which pass. Morgan Freeman interprets very well Nelson Mandela ! As regards Matt Damon, when we look at him, we believed to see a real rugby player. Very beautiful performance on behalf of the actors !

Percy Jackson : The lightning thief

Percy Jackson :the lightning thief, another film we saw recently.

This film was directed by Chris Columbus.

Summary :

A teenager named Percy Jackson discovers that he's a demigod son of the Greek god, Poseidon. He embarks on a journey across modern-day America to go to the Underworld (He also finds three pearls to get out) with his friends Annabeth Chase , the demigod daughter of Ahtena , and Grover Underwood, a satyr. Their objective by going to the Underworld is to save his mother, return Zeus stolen lightning bolt, and prevent a war between the gods

My printings about it :

It's an average film. I don't really love it. Why greek god came to the USA and had aventures with americans ? Why the passages for the hell and the Olympe are respectively in Hollywood and New York? I think certain things are not coherent.

But the musics are very good ! And there is a little humor !

Contrary to Margot I liked this film. Of course it is not the best that I saw. On this film there is good musics, for example Ke$ha (Tik Tok) and I am fascinated by the mythology. What I particularly liked in this film, maybe the centaurs, the minotaures, the satyrs and the representation of the Gods. On the other hand I think that this film would have must be turned in Greece to respect the real story of the Olympe because The Olympe is not in the Empire States Building !

Pirates of the Caribbean

Somebody recommended us to speak about pirates of the Caribbean because he likes this film.

Pirates of the Caribbean is an american film created by Jerry Bruckheimer and Walt Disney Pictures about the piracy.

Summary :

-Pirates of the Caribbean : The curse of the Black Pearl.

In the Caribbean Sea, in the XVIIth century, Jack Sparrow (played by Jonnhy Depp), gentleman pirate , sees his life idyll falling over when his enemy, deceptive captain Barbossa, steals him his boat, Black Pearl, then attacks the city of Royal Port, kidnapping of the passage the very beautiful girl of the governor, Elizabeth Swann (played by Keira Knightley). The childhood friend of this one, Will Turner ( played by Orlando Bloom), contacts Jack to dash on the heels of the captain...

-Pirates of the Caribbean : Dead Man's chest

Melanie's impression :

I don't really like this film because I don't find this movie very stick. To admit everything the piracy does not really fascinate me. I don't much have to say on this film, even if I appreciate the actors as Keira Knightley ( Domino, the duchess...), Orlando Bloom (Troy, Kingdom of Heaven) and Jonhy Depp who is a big actor (Alice in the wonderland, charlie and the chocolate factory, the public enemies).
